Facebook and Social Media After an Accident

Published July 14, 2014 | By lflynn

I always tell clients that all social media sites post accident should be set to private. When I was an insurance adjuster, when the internet and the WWW was in its early stages, I used to teach other adjusters how to troll and find out compromising information on plaintiffs. This was before Facebook and other social media venues, so now there is even more information out there for adjusters to see! Here is a recent ethics opinion for attorney on this issue.
